BRIAN THE BEAR

Brian the Bear is the Friends of Illingworth Park Mascot. He is named after Mayor Brian Holmes who died in 2013. Brian was a councillor for South Ossett. He helped to get the play park in Illingworth Park updated. He helped the group in its early days.
